The PFHS Marching Panthers is an award-winning ensemble that performs in wonderful halftime shows and competitions across Virginia and Mid-Atlantic. Being part of this outstanding organization fosters teamwork, leadership, structure, self-sufficiency and memories that last a lifetime.

Beyond our amazing marching band, the funds raised during marching band season is used to benefit the entire band department. Funds help defry costs to keep and dry-clean formal concert attire worn by corncert and Symphonic band, as well as trip costs for past Symphonic Band trips to Indianapolis, Philadephia, and Orlando. The Band Boosters help support our Winter Guard and PFHS students who participate in the Sterling-area Drum Line squad.

Only a portion of our operating budget is funded by Loudoun County Public Schools. The remainder is obtained from student fees and fundraising efforts such as Tag Day, when our students go out into the community and ask for contributions to help fund such things as equipment purchases, uniform upkeep, competition costs and travel expenses. We also hold two annual car washes and sell 50/50 raffle tickets in partnership with the PFHS Athletic Booster Club at every home varsity football game.
