At home football games Pit Parents help the student logistics crew with equipment/props before and after the show and before and after the game.

Before the game, Pit Parents assist with general Chaperone tasks like bringing the uniform racks and hat box rolling "cage" to the end zone and covering the band seating area with seat covers to protect the Band's uniforms. Like Chaperones, it is a 3-4 hour commitment.

At competitions, volunteers who drive the Tahoe and Trailer double as Pit Parents. The job is a full-day commitment.
